Director of the « Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications: Industrie technologique innovante et performante » (CMQ ITIP), 2017-…

The below results have been obtained with the job of my colleague Angéline Ménager, Operational Director of the CMQ ITIP

  • with the help of the student Steven, the Josette prototype : a competition wheelchair for people with severe disabilities.

Director of the Institute of Technology, Le Creusot, Jan. 2015 – Dec. 2019

  • From 2015, dealing with numerous reforms and new financial constraints (university budget deficit): increased centralization by the university, job freeze,  budget cuts, more precarious jobs, etc.
  • Concerns with the degraded state of the buildings. Alert campaign to the authorities on the dangerousness of these buildings. Rehabilitation of the buildings (budget of the state) programmed in end of 2021.
  • Rehabilitation of the entrance to the IUT domain (financed by own budget).
  • Common thread of my « mission » as director:  promoting interactions between the educational world and the socio-professional world and doing better with less !
  • Inducing horizontal governance by autonomy, kindness and moderation in hierarchical relationship. Ex: the secretaries of the four departments of the IUT carry out, in autonomy, the organization of the pursuit of education forum every year.
  • Placing young people as much as possible at the interface of these two worlds.
  • Creation of a training system for project leaders which has become a university degree (double degree then initial training) : DU #ICI (Initiatives, oneself Building, Innovation). This  is unique in France and registered in Parcoursup.
  • With Angéline Ménager, award in pedagogy with 2018 PEPS Special Prize after an intense year in terms of collaborative educational development.
  • In 2019 creation of a second year of DU Project 4.0 to allow young people enrolled in the DU # ICI to continue the development of their project.
  • In 2019, creation of a professional license Smart Innovative Project 4.0 (lp SIP 4.0) with a personalized educational contract (based on the French license decree of 2018).
  • Through the lp SIP 4.0, the student builds its training course according to the development of its personal and professional projects (“service” with a company).
  • Along with DU #ICI, DU Project and lp SIP, project leaders are almost permanently in interaction with professionals (meetings under different modalities of more than 200 professionals in three years).
  • The lp SIP 4.0 was rewarded by funding from the RITM program of the COMUE Bourgogne Franche Comté (RITM UBFC – N ° ANR- 17-NCUN-0003: New Cursus at the University) for its educational innovation.
  • Generally, ew training, more work-study, new collaborations with changes in teaching practices
  • Creation of a professional license in robotics in partnership with UIMM 21-71.
  • Support, with a provisional assignment of three teacher/researcher positions, the opening of the ESIREM (engineering school) Robotics-Cobotics department beside the IUT (in partnership with UIMM 21-71).
  • Creation and development of the CMQ ITIP : « Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications: Industrie technologique innovante et performante ».
  • Foundation of the horizontal approach in lifelong learning: being all learners, being all resources.
